This ornamental tree was in the front yard when we moved in. The previous owners landscaped the front yard with pebbles. Not necessarily my first material choice, but it's better than grass. I removed some of the stones and made a planting bed around this tree and put tulip bulbs in in the fall for spring blooms and then replace them during summer with an annual like impatiens or marigolds.
